Jesuit social center (unit that exists within the Jesuit Order in Poland). It is the initiator of social work in three areas: volunteering abroad, support for missionaries and working with refugees. Volunteering abroad is a combination of humanistic formation, sensitizing specifically on the needs of others and with helping who most needs it.

Up to now, our volunteers succeeded in:

  • building houses for Dalits in Karnataka (India)
  • helped in building school for Dalit children in Manvi (India)
  • teaching English for leprous children in Orissa state
  • build a house for orphans near Deoni (Nepal)
  • co-organize children’s camps in the center of leisure and recreation near Issyk-Kul lake (Kirgistan)
  • build a chapel for Christians w Dhulabari (Nepal)

About the Project India 2016:

As part of the project ‘India 2016 – church under the construction’ we want to help in building the temple for the Catholic community in the village called Pfuchama in Nagaland state. In addition, we will have a chance to try out skills in leading classroom lessons in the local schools.

Project goals:

Construction of the church in the village of Pfuchama
Developmental support and many activities of Jesuits mission in India
Teaching English, working with children
Spiritual formation to participants who are engaged in the project.
